Weekend Releases!

I know it's a little early but my weekend normally starts on Fridays since I don't have work, lol.
Anyways, to start off everyone's weekend we're bringing you two releases today!

Our first release is the first chapter of volume 8 for New Sexy Simpleton!
Things get more interesting as a secret is revealed ;)

Next up we have another chapter of Crazy Girl Shin Bia!
Now we'll see what happens when Bia goes to the village plagued by a strange disease.
Please thank Rapunzel for her speedy translations!
This time it's not a HQ chapter because I need to focus on cleaning High School Bullying =P

NSS Releases

I'm back with another release ~
Once again it's for New Sexy Simpleton. We promise that once this is done we'll be updating CGSB regularly again ;) On the bright side we're almost done NSS! Chapter 35 brings us to the end of Volume 7, that means we only have 2 more volume left ^^ We should be done within two weeks or so.

Also, although I mentioned High School Bullying a while ago we are making great progress on it ^^ We're just waiting until we finish NSS or are close to finishing before starting it as we plan to release that series at least once a week. And that's in addition to Crazy Girl Shin Bia releases ;) Idol Shopping will also hopefully be back on track once NSS is done ^^

Sorry about the delays but be assured we will finish these series!

Ahem, so after I made my post about updating CGSB yesterday evening a whole bunch of stuff happened =P

The cleaned raws I asked Rapunzel for ended up being a dead file (x Thus I had to clean this chapter myself, so that took some time =P
After finishing cleaning all the raws I felt like going an extra step and bring you guys a HQ chapter ^^ ... That took even more time as it's technically additionally cleaning ^^; Eventually since it was taking rather long I gave up on the idea of taking out the sfxs as well because then your release would be even more delayed (x But the pages are extra clean ;)
I was distracted by other things last night so I thought I could just upload it tomorrow morning at work .. Didn't turn out so well now did it? =P Apparently there was a blackout in the building earlier so wifi was down (x

And now that I've caught you all up, here is your release!

p.s. While typesetting the chapter I realized that there was a translation missing. If anyone can guess which translation I ad-libbed I will make another HQ release B) (hint: it was only one speech bubble) Oh and just a heads up High School Bullying will be HQ throughout the whole series ^^ Still not sure about if the sfxs will be cleaned out though =/ So maybe partial HQ? ;P We'll see how much free time I have once school starts up again =P

Well I have meant to tell you guys this for a while, but I just didn't know what to label the new tab *sigh* I still don't, but I guess I shouldn't put it of any longer...

If you understand Russian better than English then you should probably be exited about this, but if you are just a big HMR fan then you should also probably be glad about it... Russian skanleytkomandu will be using our projects to bring HMR's manhwas to the Russian community. If you want more info just click on Other (I couldn't come up with anything better)... it is under Projects

Also the staff section in our blog has been updated ^_^ (I hope it will make it easier for you guys to contact us if you have any questions) I will also be going through our questions and ideas section and erasing some of the really old questions since it has gotten really long.

One more thing... you guys might have noticed the sign in tab above about us... well it's not like we have a sign in for our blog is just if you have a google, twitter or yahoo account you can use that account to follow us and post on our page using your account, but you do not need to do this... it does not affect the links or anything like that.

I've been lazy for awhile and haven't really posted a new message for you all in awhile ^^; Sorry about that.
Anyways your release for today is NSS Chapter 31, which is also the beginning of volume 7 =D We're moving along as fast as we can with this project ^^ Expect a release every other day or so~

As previously mentioned we're trying really hard to wrap up this project as soon as we can. There's only 3 more volumes left and with the pace we're currently working at we should finish soon =D

Crazy Girl Shin Bia

Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there's been a release from this series in awhile ^^; We've been kinda preoccupied with NSS but I'm pretty sure Chapter 26 is somewhere .. I'll figure it out and get back to you all soon =P Maybe if you're lucky you'll get a release this week ;)
This project should pick up again with regular releases once NSS is done~

Idol Shopping

I know I promised that our next release would be under a month but it doesn't look like that will happen. I can't even really recall when we last updated ^^;
I did contact Yunhee to see how the translating was going but there's been no word as yet.
Yunhee is back~
So I have been informed that she is still working on this project and we can expect a release sometime next week =D
However, if you want to see this project finished quickly and you're a korean or vietnamese translator please e-mail me! (My e-mail address can be found on my profile; or you can also contact me on MangaFox)

Lol, so this project is once again a joint with Loyal Kiss ^^
MzUniq has so graciously offered to scan this series for us~ I'm currently working my way through cleaning volume 1 scans and I'm more than half way there.
There's just a few things to confirm with LK but I can say our first release for this new series will be soon ;)

Hi everyone ^^
So like the title says I'm here to bring you 2 chapters of New Sexy Simpleton! We're going to try to speed up the releases for this series in hopes that we'll be able to finish it soon. It's already been completely cleaned and Rapunzel is now working on all the translations. We'll have more updates on this soon.
Since I'll be away for 2 weeks or so Rapunzel will be the one to keep you all informed about what's going on, but expect more chapters from this series!
Also, we're going to be translating a new series~

I just wanted to share the good news that we have added another committed translator to our team. Please welcome MzUniq!!!!! She is our vietnamese translator and have vietnamese raws, if we need them. This means we're going to set up another poll very soon. Scanlation Issue

Okay so I'm here to clear up the issue that people seem to be having with a scanlation policy that was introduced.
First I find it rather rude that certain individuals are bringing up a topic that is quite old and has been dealt with personally from my understanding. I understand though that nothing was publicly announced to everyone regarding some clarifications. As suggested, if you have any qualms please direct them to hmrpalace@live.com. Commenting on this blog on a topic that is completely different from the one at hand is not going to sort things out.
Additionally, I'd like to address some of the comments that have been made to publicly announce to everyone exactly what is going on.

We did not mean for our message to come across as conceited. We do not plan on taking over all HMR projects, even those that are actively being done by other groups. We're merely stating that we'd like to finish as much as we can for our fans, more specifically those that have been started and have not been updated for a long time. An example of this would be New Sexy Simpleton, which had not been updated for almost 2 years before we picked up the project.
There is no mention of other groups having to "beg and plead" to do certain projects. We would merely like to keep informed of the status of some series. We are aware that some groups actually purchase the manhwa, thus we do not wish to start a project that has such circumstances. Also, it should be noted that sometimes these are purchased but not worked on right away, that is why we wished for scanlation groups to notify us beforehand so as to not cause conflict in the future.

I just want to end this by saying that the policy has been taken off to prevent further comments. I have stated all I have to say and have hopefully clarified some things for everyone. Please instead of continuing to post comments on unrelated topics and leaving anonymous comments at that, use the e-mail address we have provided for such questions and concerns.

Okay everyone I am extremely sorry that I haven't update CGSB in a while, but unfortunatly when I went to upload last Wednesday I found out that my flash drive malfunctioned. I have been catching up in school since I lost everything, but I have to finish proofreading a few more pages and then typeset it. I hope to have chapter 15 up by Sunday and maybe chapter 16 if I can manage to finish chapter 15 a little bit earlier. Again I am really sorry, but I have learned my lesson.
One more thing, we have found a new translator and editor we are currently working on Look for Oppa. We are having some problems with the raws, but after I get CGSB back on track I hope that we will have enough to do a good quality upload.

NSS - Chapter 6!

Heyy everyone ^^
I know that this project is coming out later than originally planned but I'm here to give you all the first new chapter of New Sexy Simpleton :3
Due to Rapunzel's exams she has translated beforehand a couple chapters of NSS. Thus I will be updating this series every Saturday to stretch out the releases.
Additionally, the quality of the raws obtained were really poor. I tried my best to edit the pages, but as you will see I had a hard time >< Eventually I gave in to the gutter shadows and stopped trying to lighten them (the more I lightened the image, the blurrier the image became). Sorry for the inconvenience~! If anyone can find better raws please, please, please e-mail me or leave a comment ^^ Also, due to the pages being relatively small and the shadow in the middle we have decided to leave the pages whole (: From now on however we will only be taking on series where the raws provided are of better quality ^^

Bad news for us but good news for HMR fans. If you're not aware, Nightmarecandies decided to upload and work on Idol Shopping as well. Poor Yunhee gave up and decided to stop translating entirely. This means we're back at square one, with only me doing the translating. I have my hands full translating both New Sexy Simpleton and Crazy Girl Shin Bia so it's impossible for me to work on Idol Shopping as well. Please forgive us for dropping this series. We just hope Nightmarecandies is as dedicated as us to complete the whole series for HMR fans.

For the record, if you're going to be like Nightmarecandies, at least drop us a few lines to say that you're working on whatever chapter so we don't waste our time translating the same pages!!! Please have the courtesy to let us know......*_*

In the meantime, I will try and find another translator as dedicated as me to be a part of our team.

To all the scanlators that are scanlating Hwang Mi Ri series. Please note, this is a notice of intention to continue all HMR titles that have been uploaded on mangafox but not yet completed.

For all the series that are on mangafox for more than a year (from the date that the first chapter was uploaded) and is not completed, we will take it upon ourselves to finish/continue the series on behalf of HMR fans.

As there are more scanlators uploading new HMR series, we are ensuring that the scanlators are finishing what they have started within a fair and reasonable timeframe.

Before I get inundated with protests from scanlators, please let me remind you that a series does not belong to a particular group or person. Anyone can scanlate or upload the chapters no matter who first uploaded the series.
This notice goes to everyone, including ourselves. Should we not complete the series we're working on within a year, you are all welcome to update the series.

Edit: The majority of you have commented and wish to have faster releases ^^ Thus, from Chapter 79 until the end of Volume 16 we will have lower quality scans. Also, just to clarify, the translations will still be up to par, it's only the editing that will be changed so that we can release faster.

Hi everyone~!
I'd just like to know you opinion on how we should release our chapters for a short period of time. From March to near the end of April I will be swamped with group projects and final exams, and unfortunately this means that updates will be slower. However, I'd like to know from our fans if you'd prefer:

Slower updates - better quality scans (well .. what you're getting now =P)
Faster updates - lower quality scans

Basically the lower quality scans would just entail that the page wouldn't be fully clean, especially the bottom portion. An example is the image below:

The good news is though that since we're nearing the end I will fully clean to the normal extent the very last volume because heyy it's the last volume ^^ Thus, if a change were to occur it would only affect the rest of volume 15 and 16 (=

Well I’m a bit disappointed -_- I just uploaded the other chapters of Crazy Girl Shin Bia on Media Fire and updated the current projects. So I decide to get everything updated for all the fans out there. I went to Manga Traders, then I checked Crazy Girl Shin Bia, and to my surprised, someone had already uploaded chapter 5 and 6.1!!!(First alarm goes off in my brain) So I downloaded both of them and it is our work!! Chapter 5 still had the credit page, but chapter 6.1 DID NOT! (A huge alarm goes off in my brain) So now do you guys start to understand why I’m a bit sad, disappointed and very close to mad? So I typed Crazy Girl Shin Bia on Google and I see that quite a few sites have chapter 5 and 6.1 uploaded! (And then something in me snaps!) You might be asking yourself why am I telling you all this? Well is so you all understand why I felt the need to officially put up a hosting policy for Crazy Girl Shin Bia.

Sorry for not updating or doing much during the last few days. I just updated CGSB chapter 6, but I only put the first part up since I was missing a page, but once I get the rest ready I'll update the other part :) As for our future project, well I might have to wait a few more days before I put up the new poll *~*, but that's only because Rapunzel might add a few more summaries for everyone :) I also wanted to take this time to thank everyone for voting and also for wanting us to continue working. Sorry I haven't been updating each day. As you all know, Christmas and New Year is just around the corner and I have been very busy buying presents and getting ready for the festive season! We didn't want to recruit anymore but she showed a very genuine interest and is fast. I hope our working relationship will last a very long time. Again, please make her feel welcome. Hyo-Yi is leading an incredibly difficult life - her mother abandoned her and her little brother Hyo-Je after their father's death, and she has been working tirelessly to make a living any way she can while keeping her grades up so that she won't lose her scholarship. Her life is filled with cruel ridiculing eyes, struggling against poverty, and expending what little energy she has left on taking care of her mentally challenged brother. Luckily for her, Hyo-Yi is the type to never give up and not take any crap from anyone. Her high school life, however, becomes a mess when she mistakenly punches Min-ha, the school jjang, for making her best (and only) friend cry.

It's overwhelming! According to the current votes from HMR fans, I am continuing my translation and my updates for you all. ^_^ THANK YOU for all your support. Seeing there are so many fans of the author out there, it is an incentive for me to keep going.

Okay so some of you might be wondering why Crazy Girl Shin Bia hasn't been updated. I am very sorry, but I was hoping to get chapter 5 uploaded by Friday, but the person I was putting my hopes on didn't come through :( So I have been rushing and trying to get the next few chapters done and trying to make them a little bit more HQ, but now I am facing tech problems. :( I wasn't counting on that either, so for everybody out there don't worry I'll try to fix it and have them done at the latest by Wednesday. If I can get it done earlier that's great, if not don't worry I'll get it done okay.

WOW! I only just got home from my summer job and imagine my surprise when I saw all the anonymous comments! First of all, I just want to thank everyone for visiting our website and also for voting for our next project. :)

Now, down to the serious business of addressing the mangahut issue. It was them that posted my scans and they assumed that Esthetique was behind it, even though, it clearly stated on mangafox that it's not. Before you go attacking me, I only contacted manghut late last night and bear in mind that I have work this morning. I didn't have time to sit there and wait all night for them to fix the issue or reply to me. Like I said, I only just got home. I would have apologized earlier if I didn't have to go to work.

So, I sincerely apologize for my assumption and for defaming Esthetique. Remember, we didn't have a great start to begin with. I am new to this whole business of scanlating. I only started doing this because I know how frustrating it is to wait for updates.

My boyfriend pointed something out to me. He said, since Esthetique has been around longer than we have. Surely, they would have known about Mangahut and contacted them way before I even found out. They should have contacted Mangahut and told them that the scans are not their work. Anyway, I'm not going to open that can of worms so don't go abusing me because I mentioned it.

I never even want to compete with Esthetique on the quality of my scans. I know my scans are not HQ and I never claimed them to be. I translated and uploaded purely for HMR fans. Just as long as they are satisfied with my scans, then that's enough for me. I'm giving up a tremendous amount of my free time so that the fans can enjoy HMR's work. If they so desired HQ pictures, then they should support HMR and buy her manhwas when they become available in their country.

Will I continue with my updates? That's up to HMR fans. I'm going to ask Kira to set up another poll and all you have to do is click "yes" or "no". After all, I'm not going to lose anything if I stop translating. I will gain a lot of my free time back.

Again, I SINCERELY apologize for my public outburst. It should have remained a private affair between all involved.

I'm going to take my sorry ass to shower, have dinner and relax over a romantic movie. After such an eventful night of my own making and eventful day at work, this will be all I'm doing tonight. Hopefully, I won't get abused too much for apologizing this late.

Esthetique

So I recently found out that Esthetique has been uploading my BHOH scans on mangahut and took the credit page out and used it as their own piece of work. I wasn't going to reveal what they wrote to me when I first continue to upload BHOH but since they stooped so low and used my scans without even asking me, I will reveal to everyone. They asked me to stop translating BHOH from Volume 4 because it was their so called "project" but I ignored them and continued on for the fans.

Why are they stooping so low? I really don't understand it but you know what? I don't care now, just as long as there are more fans out there reading HMR's work. I just want everyone to know that Esthetique is doing this.

We got a new translator! :D We are currently working on Crazy Girl Shin Bia, but don't worry everyone, we will still look at the poll. I had asked the translator to join us before we started the page and also made the poll. Here is the staff:
